Categories: Beverages
Yield: 6 Servings

4 large Lemons Ice cubes--enough to fill 8 glasses 3/4 cup sugar Fresh Mint 1 quart water

Wash fruit well and cut into thin slices; remove seeds. Place the lemon slices in a small crock or heavy pitcher. Cover the fruit with sugar and mix. Let stand for 10 min. Press the lemons firmly with a potato masher to extract the juice and oil from the rinds. Add the water, and continue to mash the fruit until the liquid is well flavored. Just before serving, add ice cubes. Garnish with mint.
